In November 1st of 2019, the Minister of Development and Investment, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, signed the first Golf Course project construction permit of the strategic Kilada Hills investment project, located in the regional area of Argolis.

New Golf Resort in Porto Heli

The first key phase of the constructional work of this colossal tourism investment project called “Kilada Hills Golf Resort”, is due to start in the upcoming months. The construction area is located near Porto Heli.

This type of investment elevates Dolphin Capital area’s investment activity, improving the current ratio. This project is the first Strategic Tourism Investment in the wider providence of Greece. It achieves full licensing maturity with the issuance of a building permit.

What the New Golf Resort Project features:

The “Kilada Hills Golf Resort” is a huge tourism investment both financially and strategically. The total investment estimate exceeds 400 million euro (€). Up to date more than 80 million euro (€) of the Dolphin Capital Group own funds have been mobilized and invested to purchase, design, construct, license and authorize. Construction area is around 2,079 acres and it’s located in the Ermioni Valley of Argolis Municipality. It is expected to create about 800 jobs during its construction phase and at least 600 new jobs when it will be fully operational.

It is planned to facilitate:

  1. 5* hotel with 100 rooms and suites. Also, a complex of local hotels and 85 villas will be managed by them too.
  2. 18 golf courses with a club house.
  3. Restaurant, bar, swimming pool and a fitness center.
  4. 230 houses
  5. Wellness and sports centers with options for extracurricular activities like swimming, exercising, spa etc.
  6. Beach Club with a pool, restaurant and bar by the sea

Upgrade of the Municipality of Argolis

It is worth mentioning that construction in Kilada Hills is a fracture of Dolphin’s wider area investment. It is expected the whole area of Argolis to be upgraded and reconstructed. As an effect, many more job opportunities will be created, local tourism will grow and it will eventually lengthen the tourism season. In general, the whole project is expected to attract new investors.
