Mother Nature attracts the attention of almost everyone who stays at Villa10 Greece. Some embrace her immediately on arrival. Some are distracted.
The villa’s architecture often grabs the limelight initially.
Grown up modernism – calm, elegant, solid. No central design extravaganza, that will date, no outrageous ‘feature’ art.
Just simple lines with floor to ceiling windows that frame the landscaped gardens and beyond to the artistry of Mother Nature’s grand design.
Each window a living canvas of breathtaking views. 360 degrees of wrap around Mother Nature.
That is the art collection at Villa10 Greece. And it is priceless..
Walk around the villa’s grounds and food is everywhere. Herbs, olives, oranges, pomegranates, almonds, figs, mulberries, capers and rocket. All seasonal – naturally.
The villa is filled with vases of herbs and bowls of oranges from the grounds when in season. Olive branches and other foliage as the seasons change.
The grounds and the villa are totally connected. There is a simple joy in pouring olive oil made from olives grown on trees you can see. The slightly primeval feeling of picking an orange, pomegranate or an almond from its tree; is grounding. Harvesting herbs from the ‘Hypocratic Garden’ or gathering rocket from the orchard connects us to the basics of life.
And then.. cooking and eating. The kitchen was made for gathering together. For those who love to cook, it is a joy and for those who love to ‘show their support for those who cook’ the kitchen accommodates all levels of participation. The Butlers Kitchen allows guest chefs to ‘prep’ meals and present them in the main kitchen, it is up to our guests.
There is a huge variety of excellent local produce.
The villa’s General Manager lives locally. She knows the best of the artisan producers in the area. The best vineyards, the best cheese makers, the best beekeepers, fish shops etc.
For guidance on the best places and times to buy the freshest, the tastiest and the best value local produce – Mrs R is the best.
The region of Peloponnese does not set out to attract ‘mass tourism’. Attracting the discerning tourist is the objective. Those who want to be surrounded by natural Greece at her finest.
A dash of sophistication, here and there with the discreet high end spas like Amanzoe and Nikki Beach in Porto Heli is balanced with the simple tavernas of local villages Kilada and Ermeoni. The bay in which Villa10 Greece sits, is home to the large estates of the Athenian elite. Discreet luxury, the modus operandi. There are some swish and fashionable restaurants and clubs, but not many. Experienced service providers like yacht charter companies and private chefs back up established second homes. There are safe harbors for the friends with yachts. Island hopping day trips to Hydra and Spetses round off the classic Greek experience.
Simple and sophisticated, connected and secluded: We look forward to welcoming those who might appreciate these elements.

The Welcome Pack options include a list of products that are made and grown, very locally.
